Hi Folks! Its Me, Markospoon, Your Favorite Negril Storyteller in Stunning 3D! Cool Huh?

I Write Colorful Articles About a Dimension of Negril the Most Tourists Rarely See.

This has led me to create this blog in order to save and display my stories along with all of my 3D photos just for you my many tourist fans. I'm doing it in cooperation with the 2 author / webmasters of the NEGRIL JAMAICA TOURIST VIDIA, a free, 1500 page exhaustive visual encyclopedia - directory website of Negril.

My articles are about my actual experiences doing various goofy things at various interesting places all over Negril. So I sometimes utilize this reference website's photos, videos and maps here to visually portray some of the tourist enterprises, activities and attractions that I mention that are in this beautiful Jamaican tourist town.

Through my articles and the visuals that I've posted here you will quickly learn why I and so many other tourists love this little town so much.

The following is an endless loop slide show of the 3D photos which I shot when I was down in Negril in December 2010. Enjoy Mon!

This kind of a no glasses 3D slide show has now become possible because of start3d.com's exciting new 3D technology for blogs and websites. With it, all of my 3D photos may be viewed here or in thumbnails in my album on their website or in a larger size on my page on the Negril Jamaica Tourist Vidia.

And should you go there, you can also view a twin slide show of my 3D photos in the much deeper displaying anaglyph format (which does require the 3D glasses to be focused and viewed). In that format, my 3D photos can be displayed in full screen mode to show you an even more fascinating 3D view of each of these scenes.

Onestop Vacations Travel Service's March Newsletter

This posting is an excerpt taken from Onestop Vacations' March newsletter. Onestop Vacations is a great travel service for Negril. The folks who operate this business live in Canada but they maintain a residence in Negril and travel there often so they are intimately acquainted with a lot of the things that are going on in Negril.

They represent and book for over 50 of Negril's best boutique resorts so they are a great source of information for vacationers who wish to go there. If you book a stay at a resort with them or directly with the resort, the price is the same to you, so you should book with them and take advantage of their great knowledge of Negril and their many customer perks.

With their permission I will be posting excerpts from their monthly newsletter every month here because it contains some great information and insight into Negril. Here is excerpted information from their March 2010 newsletter.

Well, Its 30 degrees and sunny in Jamaica! That's high 80's in Fahrenheit! You could be there!

Still some availability at many resorts during March. It looks like there aren't as many college kids spending spring break in Jamaica this year so if you are overdue for your Jamaica fix, just give us a call. Or give us a call anyways if you need to know anything at all about Negril.

If you don't recall getting a Feb. newsletter you are correct....I took way too many new photos (over 1000) during our Nov. stay ( how can I resist ...the island is so beautiful) and have been working on getting them onto our websites. We should have the majority of the new photos on them by the time you get this newletter.

Our web sites feature up to date photos and videos that we take ourselves and we've stayed at the majority of our resorts. Please feel free to ask us any questions you may have as we're happy to share our local knowledge.

Here's Some Resort News -

Merrils - If you are looking for a comfortable, casual, semi all-inclusive holiday...you can't go wrong at any of the 3 Merrils Resorts on Negril's world renowned 7 mile beach. Meals and all local drinks (10 am to 10 pm) are included. Always a great rate for a great location right in the heart of Negril's beach action. Well ithin walking distance of most of the beach's reggae music nightlife.

The Oasis Resort - Formerly known as Thrills Resort, this is a lovely garden oasis in the west end cliffs area of Negril. Recently renovated and renamed, this relaxing resort is close to the action and reasonably priced. Look for it on our web site under cliff resorts.

Banana Shout - Your host Milo invites you for a very private, very memorable, get back to nature, Jamaican vacation. Only 4 stand alone cottages with cliff side sea views comprise this property. The cottages, painted in bright tropical colours, each have their own private veranda and are equipped with kitchenettes. Great snorkeling off the cliffs and a cave to explore. March Special: Cottages from $100. to $150. per couple per night ( $50. off per night).

A number of our customers have sent off a request to the Meet The People Program from our sites. Its a great way to really have some one-on-one time with local Jamaicans. You can request to be matched up by interest or hobby that you might wish. We would love to hear your feedback on how it went.

This is a response from Connie when I asked for feedback for the new restaurant "Lingah By the Sea" at Negril Beach Club Condos/ Mariners. Thanks a bunch Connie!

Hi Susan,

I saw your comment about the new restaurant at Negril Beach Condos/Mariners and wanted to let you know that we stayed there over Thanksgiving for 12 days. We were a party of seven adults and we all loved the new restaurant called "Lingah by the Sea".

The buffets were spectacular! And most of the time $20.00 or less...what a deal. Usually we like to bounce around and try different eateries but we were hard pressed to miss out on the meals they served. The Chef was always friendly and wanted to know what we thought of all the dishes. His name was Orlando. He is Jamaican but trained in the US. The presentation of his dishes made you feel like you were dining at a 5 star restaurant! They were beautiful! You could tell he took great pride in his cooking. And the serving sizes were more than enough, even for the guys.

Saturday was Jamaican night and Orlando spent his time cooking outside on the grill. Breakfasts and lunches were also fantastic and again the portions were large enough for the biggest eater!

As you can tell I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. We have stayed at Negril Beach Club for over 10 years now and have seen many changes in their restaurant. Hopefully this one will stay around. Service was also wonderful.

Hope this helps!

Connie
